"Thank You again!!" - What can we say but "Thank You" again!! Each time we stay at Su Nido, we feel that it is a special time. The experience allows us to be "on vacation" while also visiting my mother at the Gables. Although each suite has been wonderful, Kathy & I think of the Robin as our "home in Ojai." Your personal attention to our needs and your outgoing, positive attitude make us always look forward to our times at Su Nido.

"View of the Mountains was Spectacular" - We had a wonderful stay at Su Nido Inn in celebration of our 35th wedding anniversary. The room was beautiful, the fireplace romantic, the bed very comfortable, the shower delicious and the breakfast in our private balcony with a view of the mountains was just spectacular. We can't wait to be back there. Oh yes, the best part of it all was the staff: when we arrived Michael made us feel so welcomed and when we left, Sherrie made us feel as if we were old friends. "Su Nido truly is a wonderful place to stay" - My husband and I always enjoy our outings, and part of the fun is in searching for accomodations. I can wholeheartedly say, if anyone is considering a visit to Ojai, search no further. Su Nido truly is a wonderful place to stay and the staff is most welcoming and accomodating. The shops and restaurants are an easy block or two away. Our visit was a perfect 10 or five stars or simply tops

"Really enjoyed the Eagle suite" - I really enjoyed the Eagle suite. Because my husband was in London we got to break out a bit in Ojai and chose the Su Nido Inn. The Inn is close to my mother & fathers apartment at The Gables so it was wonderful. We loved it. It was much more fun than the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa. Quiet and we had a kitchen...fabulous. I only wished we were staying longer. Next time I will make reservations earlier so I can get a bath tub!

"Su Nido Inn is a perfect Getaway for anyone who lives in LA”"- Great boutique hotel and can't argue with the price. We stayed in the Sparrow room for a night. The king size bed was like a cloud, Michael, the innkeeper, was super friendly and told us all about where to eat. Room came with DVD player and they even have a great selection of DVD's you can choose from. We will return for longer weekend and check out local hikes next time.

"Friendly, Kind & Helpful" - I want all of the staff to know that my stay was wonderful. Everything I needed or wanted was taken care of; and everyone was friendly, kind and helpful. The Dove suite and grounds are perfect and when I come back to Ojai the Su Nido will be my place of choice.

"Found Our Shangri La in Ojai" - This is our third visit to the beautiful Su Nido Inn where we once again spent our three day retreat in the Blue Jay Suite, which feels like our home away from home. Michael greeted us as returning friends and helped us to settle in with suggestions of restaurants, shops and events of the week. Our suite has all the comforts that we look forward to each year---large living room, wonderful bed, bathroom amenities and fluffy towels, bottles of water in the refrigerator along with cans of juice and other great snacks. Sitting on our balcony as we have our breakfast, is one of our special treats. Walking to restaurants, shops and the park are a bonus for the location of Su Nido. We look forward to our next visit.

"A Very Special Place. . ." - Wonderful location (two blocks from the center of town & great restaurants/shopping), wonderful staff (warm, helpful), great rooms and ambiance (spacious, peaceful, fireplace, feather beds, peaceful colors, comfy furniture). Great couples getaway and very good for small families. Michael (the Innkeeper) knows all there is to know about Ojai and can recommend/book just about anything. We're definitely going back!!!

"A wonderful romantic spot" - I just completed my second stay at the Su Nido Inn and can't say enough about it. It is very clean and well maintained, the suites are great and well appointed with plenty of room for a weekend or a month. This quaint Inn is situated where most things in the town of Ojai are within walking distance including some great hiking trails. My husband and I usually stay in 4 and 5 star hotels and this is certainly up to our standards. The Inn is quite peaceful and very nice. I am planning to stay there again on my next trip and would highly recommend this quaint Inn for anyone.

"Wonderful and relaxing escape!" - My husband and I just returned from a 1-night getaway to Ojai and stayed in the Heron suite at Su Nido Inn. Before even getting to the Inn, we were pleasantly surprised by the warmth and friendliness of the staff. From Sherrie who took down our reservation, to Michael, the Innkeeper who was there to greet us on arrival, the service we received was warm, friendly, and inviting. The next pleasant surprise was the beauty of the Inn itself, the charm of the modern-Spanish style, and the super-cleanliness of the grounds and rooms. The Heron suite was wonderful...we LOVED the very private jacuzzi tub on our own balcony, and the super-comfortable bed gave us the first 10+ hour night of sleep since our 3-year-old daughter was born. We will definitely find our way back to Su Nido.

"We Love Su Nido!" - Thank you Michael for getting me in to the Dove suite a couple of weeks ago. My girlfriend, Mary and I loved it and had a hard time leaving! We will definitely be back next year for the Ojai Century Bike ride or sooner!

"Everything I hoped for and more!" - I thoroughly enjoyed my 3-night stay at the beautiful Su Nido Inn. I stayed in the Blue Jay suite. The suite was beautifully appointed, as well as being immaculate! The bed was so comfortable. I was able to sleep all night. the inn is conveniently located within walking distance of the shops and great restaurants in the center of town. I sat in the lovely peaceful courtyard for late afternoon reading. Michael, the innkeeper was so helpful in restaurant recommendations, as well as places of interest to see and visit in Ojai. I will be visiting this lovely vacation getaway again.

"Impressive Inn with every comfort and luxury of a 5 star hotel and more!" - I never write reviews of my business travels let alone a trip for pleasure. The Su Nido is one I really want to encourage other travelers to stay in. My wife and I needed to get away from LA life and originally booked a 3 night stay. My wife was so happy and felt so healthy she wanted to stay an extra day, so we did. That night, she talked to her mom (my in-laws) and they needed a get away and we all decided to stay in the Condor/Starling suites for 2 nights. The rooms opened up into each other, yet afforded each couple their privacy and own restroom at retiring for the evening. The Starling was delightful for my in-laws with their own flat screen tv with DVD, celing fan and A/C. The private french door entrance was nice for them to enter their own room from the outside. Our suite the Condor was beautiful and had a large living room with sofa and dining table, and large private patio. The suite overlooked the parking lot and was a top of the office, yet it was so quiet and peaceful that it was really a gem. The staff was just terrific affording all the pleasantries of B&B owners without the no TV or shared bathroom scenarios that some B&B's have and I dislike. For my wife's health needs, the central A/C was a godsend and something hard to find in the Ojai Valley. The decor of the suites were fresh and so clean and made us feel right at home with the Arts & Crafts furniture that adorns our own home. Su Nido is a jewel in the Ojai Valley. I walked every morning to Ojai Coffee Roasters and on Sunday walked to an amazing Farmers Market. Parking is private and oh so easy. The street the Su Nido sits on is quiet yet close enough to the main street that a car is not necessary unless mobilty imparied like my wife is. We plan on returning with the in-laws soon and will definitely be back to Su Nido as a couple in the future. Look no further for perfection in Ojai.

"Once you find Su Nido, you never want to leave this amazing nest" - My husband and I needed to get away from LA life and we orginally booked a 3 night stay. I loved it so much I begged to stay another night and the inn staff helped us by having our "new" room ready (We moved from the Heron to the Peacock), so that we could just easily transition to the new room. The Su Nido affords every luxury of home, friendly staff that is like family, comfortable beds that are heavenly, and the TV in the bedroom in this suite was mounted on the wall making it a dream to watch from bed. Coming in to water and juices and snacks, having a microwave and toaster is just icing on a great cake. We did go and look at other inn's in the Ojai valley, and no doubt my favorite and home in Ojai will always be the Su Nido. I encourage this inn for anyone who wants peace and harmony with comforts of home. My highest ratings for room, service, location, and the central air is much appreciated!

"A home away from home has been found in Ojai, CA" - Su Nido is a wonderful, relaxing getaway from busy life in the Los Angeles area. The rooms are tremendously clean and fresh, not cluttered and so home like that it is easy to forget you are in a hotel. Located off the main Ojai road, it is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants, and the management goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is what you want it to be. Tv's and dvd players are in the rooms and the inn's office has an extensive offering of DVD titles. Central Air Conditioning is a treat and hard to find in Ojai Valley Inn's, further enhancing the Inn's comforts. Bed is comfortable and I will no longer look for a better Inn in the Ojai Valley, now I have Su Nido. This nest is one that I look forward to returning to as much as possible.

"Beautiful Stay" - Thank you for a beautiful stay!! We loved Ojai but most of all we loved our Robin Suite and the perfect location of Su Nido Inn. It is in walking distance to all shops and restaurants and Michael was so helpful in getting us information and directions. "Wonderful Hospitality" - I want to thank you for your wonderful hospitality during my recent stay in the Blue Jay Suite at your lovely inn. I thoroughly enjoyed my respite from the urban drain and pressures of traffic and work in Los Angeles. Everything for a restful and pleasant stay was provided without asking. I especially loved that the suite is immaculate; cleanliness is the first thing I notice at a hotel or inn, and Su Nido is by far and best I've been in. I also appreciated the care and friendliness of the staff. I hope to return again very soon for a longer stay. I've found "my nest" in Ojai.

There are so many reasons why I favor your inn: the spaciousness and décor of the rooms, all of the convenient amenities such as CD player, flat-screen televisions, sinks, microwave & frig. I also like the safety and beauty of the gated courtyard. Your housekeeping staff is wonderful, they do an excellent job. "Wonderful Weekend at Su Nido" - We had a wonderful weekend at Su Nido and really enjoyed our two-bedroom suite. It was wonderful to have our morning coffee which we enjoyed on our pretty deck. The amenities were very much appreciated and the staff was very helpful when we wanted suggestions for a vigorous hike - and they made sure we had plenty of water with us. It was our son's second stay and we have been so impressed that we have decided to book the whole Inn for our son's wedding weekend next spring.

"Absolutely Superb" - Thank you very much for the hospitality last week during our stay. The Raven Suite was absolutely superb. We felt as though we were staying in the guest suite at a friend's house rather than at a hotel. Truly the most comfortable accommodations in any hotel or inn that we have stayed at. The unique layout of the space really makes it feel more like a home than a traditional hotel room. Thanks again and we look forward to another visit in the future.

"Our Home Away from Home" - My wife and I just stayed with you and we were very pleased. How nice to have the Cardinal suite instead of just a single room. Everything is first rate from the furnishings to the bathroom fixtures and the additional mini kitchen is a nice added touch. All included in the price of the suite is parking, snacks, coffee in suite and importantly for us DSL internet services. It really was our home away from home.

"Thanks for taking good care of us" - My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay with you. I loved the accomodations. The bed was SO comfy, the shower very comfortale and the wide screen TV just like home. The innkeeper suggested a great restaurant and got us reservations for the night upon our arrival. "Very Accomodating" - My wife and I really enjoyed our stay there. As we mentioned we came up for our nieces wedding. It was our first visit to Ojai. We loved everything about the room and the Inn. Everyone was very nice and accomodating. We want to thank you for finding and reporting my wifes lost glasses also. Su Nido is one of the nicest B&B's we have stayed in and would extend a high recommendation to anyone who is looking to visit Ojai. My wife and I wished we had additional time to stay at the Inn and in Ojai. The town is great and relaxing. We will definetly be back.

"Beautiful and Friendly Inn" - I love this inn. We stayed in the Heron suite which is by itself on the second floor. The suite is beautifully decorated Mediterranean style and has a huge bathroom. There is a hot tub on the balcony that the innkeeper helps you set up. The bed is soooo comfortable and the kitchen and living room look like they belong in Home and Garden magazine. There are flat screen plasma TVs with built-in DVD players. The innkeeper has an extensive collection of DVDs and is extremely courteous and helpful. He also helps you with restaurant selections depending on what type of food and atmosphere you want. The inn is perfectly located in that it is in the heart of town but a couple blocks off the main street. It's peaceful and quiet but within walking distance from almost everything. I would definitely recommend this beautiful and friendly inn.

"Amazing Time" - I can't tell you what an amazing time my Mom and I had during our weekend at the Su Nido Inn to celebrate her 60th birthday. The warm greeting we received from Michael when we first arrived started the weekend out perfectly. Our suite (the Heron) was immaculate and the bed was probably the most comfortable either of us have ever slept in. We very much enjoyed the private hot tub, the fireplace, and watching movies on our flat screen TV. The beautiful courtyard was just the icing on the cake. Although I grew up in Santa Barbara, I had never really spent any time in Ojai. Now I feel like I've discovered a whole new world so close to home, and Su Nido was a large part of that experience. Thank you so much for everything and I can't wait to stay with you again!

"One of Ojai's best kept secrets" - Our stay was wonderful and the suite was spectacular. We really like the gounds, architecture and finishes in the suite. I can guarantee that we will be back soon to stay at Su Nido. I think it's one of Ojai's best kept secrets and I only wished I would have found it sooner. Hope to visit soon!

"A Delightful Surprise!" - Well, what a delightful surprise! I was organizing a birthday weekend for my fiance and when I tried to book a hotel room, the one I was interested in was too expensive and the other had already been booked. I found Su Nido as an option when we went for a day to the Ojai Music Festival and I discovered it in the program.

I booked the Heron Suite, hoping it would suit for the surprise weekend.

We arrived and it was perfect! The Spanish architecture was beautiful, especially at night when we first were welcomed. The experience far exceeded my expectations: plenty of space and light, much attention to detail from the Molton Brown toiletries to the juices in the refrigerator, the exceptional friendly service, the private spa, the walking distance to the center of town and I can go on...the two flat screen televisions with DVD players...we watched the Olympics late one night and then from the store across the street where they have a wide selection of foreign DVDs, we rented a French comedy and watched it the second night. Su Nido was comfortably fabulous! Thank you Su Nido, we will be back!

"Tourists in our own town!" - We enjoyed our stay at Su Nido and thank you for your hospitality. We live in Ojai but it was great fun to walk downtown to dinner and then to coffee in the morning. We were tourists in our own town! Great fun!

"A True Find" - Had a blissful weekend away from Los Angeles, and Su Nido was the perfect spot to stay. The Cardinal suite we stayed in was designed with warmth and subtle attention to detail, a standout among other hotels of similar pricing. Fireplace, balcony, and especially the bathroom with great soaking tub and Molton Brown products made it fun to call home for two nights. The mission-inspired architecture reflected in the titling and shape of interiors nicely reinforced the reason Ojai is a 'getaway'.

Lastly, the bed was so comfortable I could have never left. The hotel's proximity to local attractions was convenient, and staff was extremely helpful with recommendations and directions, though seemingly simple, it was nice to feel catered to like a guest and not a tourist.

I've recommended Su Nido to several friends -- and is a true find so I thought I'd share the secret.

"Your Magical Inn" - We had a wonderful stay at your magical inn. From the moment we checked in, Sherry made us feel so welcome. The Raven suite was so comfortable and cozy. We borrowed a free DVD and watched by the firelight. The shower pressure was just right (my personal gauge of hotel accommodations) and I loved the yummy-smelling Molton Brown toiletries. I also enjoyed the complimentary goodies stocked in the fridge. Su Nido was so central to town, we never used a car during our stay, preferring to walk everywhere, even to the shelf trail along the hill. Thanks for your kindness and generosity, we will always remember, and definitely return to the Su Nido Inn.

"Perfectly Lovely" - Please know that our two days at Su Nido was perfectly lovely. The suite, the furnishings and all the amenities, the beautiful courtyard, but mostly your hospitality and graciousness. Su Nido was discovered by our son-in-law, but, candidly, his greatest discovery was our daughter, his wife! We certainly will highly recommend your wonderful "nest" to all our friends. "Loved Every Minute of It!" - I found the Su Nido Inn online while searching for a hotel in Ojai. I am from Ventura which is only twenty minutes away, but I wanted to surprise my boyfriend for a "quick and easy" getaway for his birthday. It was absolutely dreamy! We had such an amazing time. Michael, the Innkeeper, and his partner both called to check in with me and took very good care of us. We were upgraded to a suite which was so nice of them to do. My boyfriend was totally surprised and the Su Nido was the perfect location. I loved the Spanish style architecture and decoration. We enjoyed a glass of red wine on the patio, we loved the flatscreens, I took an amazing bath, the bed was very comfortable and everything was ideal. I would recommend Su Nido Inn to anyone. I can't wait to go there here again and spend another night away in a completely different suite.

"Thank you for your hospitality" - The management could not have been nicer or more accomodating in fulfilling our request. We were fortunate enough to enjoy the Heron Suite for our anniversary. The suite itself is exquisite and there is nothing more romantic than a fireplace. We thoroughly enjoyed the privacy of the hot tub and being able to watch both the stars at night and the sunrise in the morning. If you are looking for "The" Romantic stop in Ojai then you have found it at the Su Nido Inn. Thanks again, we look forward to our next stay.

"Su Nido es mi Nido!" - Su nido es mi nido! Your nest is my nest! Or perhaps we should say, your nest is our nest....yes it was a truly enchanting experience to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary in Ojai, and Su Nido was so much of that experience. We can not say enough of the peaceful and beautiful surroundings we were in at Su Nido, it made our getaway worthy of the celebration of our 20th.

"Relaxful Escape" - With our usual favorite romantic hotel closed for renovations, I searched the internet for weeks to find a replacement property for this very important weekend. We had high expectations as we generally only get away once a year for our anniversary and I wanted it to be romantic and special. I found Su Nido Inn online and after looking at all of the pictures and information on the rooms and location, I decided to book a suite.

We arrived late Friday afternoon and were warmly greeted by Michael the Innkeeper. We were shown around the property. He left us with restaurant and points of interest information (including hiking maps and coupons). We took advantage of their library of complementary DVD's. All of our needs were enthusiastically met.

Our Spanish Revival Condor suite was beautiful, spacious, elegant, and comfortable. It had a large balcony, comfortable couch & chair, impressive and substantial concrete hearth and fireplace, indoor dining area with chandalier, rustic tile with Oriental rugs, two flat-panel televisions, desk and chair, cd player, kitchenette (cooktop, cookware, seasonings, sink, dishes, microwave, coffee/tea maker, and fridge), luxurious bathroom (soaking tub, frameless glass shower, quartz sink, robes, slippers, and imported English bath products), and last but not least, a fabulously comfortable king sized bed outfitted with high thread count sheets, feathertop, and down comforter and pillows.

The Ojai Valley is wonderful. The old Oak trees are majestic. We enjoyed the beautiful courtyard fountain and twinkle lights and took walks to the quaint yet chic downtown area (about a block and a half away). Although there are many highly rated restaurants nearby, we ate at our past favorite, Boccali's Italian Restaurant (casual, delicious, and authentic Italian family-style cooking). We drove a short while to Meditation Mount and took in the peaceful feeling and expansive views.

All the recreation you want is in Ojai and the surrounding area, but what we loved best was the time we spent together alone. Our weekend was peaceful, light, and low-key...just what every couple needs. We can't wait to do it again!

"Su Nido sanctuary" - As I write this, I am planning my return to Su Nido Inn this coming February. I first stayed at Su Nido Inn last year for my birthday. I had two little ones at home - whom I had never left before, even for a night. I was a little worried, but it was my birthday and I really needed time to rest and restore. I was welcomed with a bottle of champagne and Michael's huge smile. With the trickle of the fountain in the background, I listened as Michael told me about the great restaurants within walking distance, the fantastic yoga studio and boutique (Lulu Bandha's & Bhavantu - SO AMAZING) around the corner & the Inn's extensive movie library. I was in heaven. I called the Robin Suite my home for 3 days. Indulging in my own fresh brewed coffee on my sunny porch each morning, taking 2 yoga classes a day at Lulu's, getting massages and facials at the Day Spa of Ojai, and walking around town taking in the magic and energy that is only found in Ojai. By the way, did I mention the bed??? I have a feeling that each Feb, I will find myself back at the Su Nido Inn. It is a sanctuary like no other.

"Su Nido a Hidden Gem!" - Thank you again for an amazing night at the Su Nido in Ojai. Both Doug and I loved the Robin suite and were exceptionally pleased with everything. We wanted to thank you for upgrading us as well. I really appreciated your help in making his birthday so special and following up with me via telephone (2 times). It is so rare these days that you get great customer service and you all were so nice and helpful. I have spread the word about Su Nido to several people I know. Such a nice hidden gem you have up there. I cant wait to come back again and see another cute suite/room.

"Beautiful, quaint hotel!" - This hotel was wonderful. It was located walking distance to Main St. in Ojai and was in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. The staff is extremely warm and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The suite was more like an apt - it had a small kitchen, bedroom and family room. I highly recommend this hotel for a quiet, pleasant stay in Ojai!

"Luxuriously Casual!" - My trip to Ojai was a spur of the moment event. Looking for somewhere not too far away from Los Angeles, I decided on Ojai (less than 100 miles from home). Relaxation was my goal and the Su Nido Inn was above and beyond my expectations! I booked The Eagle Suite and from the moment I checked in, I felt at home. The Inn was more than I expected from the website. If you are looking for a place to escape and relax, this is it.

Just 2 blocks from the main avenue, it is walking distance to shops and restaurants in downtown Ojai. Just walking down the avenue, you realize that life without a Target is absolutely possible!

If I were to detail all the perfect things about the Su Nido Inn, this review would be three pages long! The furnishings in the Suite were so comfortable. The decor was not at all like a hotel but more like a home. The bed with all the pillows was extremely comfortable (I did not wake once during the night!) The towels were extra large and soft. The kitchenette was perfect so that you did not have to eat all of your meals out. I never felt for one moment that I was missing a comfort from home! Everything about the Inn promoted relaxtion and comfort. The Innkeeper's were so friendly and I truly felt like a guest in their home. I will definately be visiting the Su Nido Inn again!

"Far Exceeded My Expectations" - I have been meaning to email you to tell you how much I enjoyed my stay at Su Nido Inn. I have traveled extensively and have a discerning eye for that perfect blend of comfort, quality, special touches and ambiance. On a scale of 1-10, Su Nido Inn is a rare 10. It far exceeded my expectations beginning with Sherry, our hostess who was extremely accommodating and helpful.

The architecture of the building itself sets the stage along with the gated courtyard, fountain and quiet location. Our accommodation, The Peacock Suite was tastefully decorated with fabulous use of the square footage. The benefit of having a separate living/dining room with the kitchenette was incredible added value and made for a very pleasant stay with the feel of an apartment instead of a hotel room. All the extra touches, including the excellent quality of the bed, European duvets and bath products were much appreciated.

Thank you for a lovely stay. I will most certainly recommend Su Nido and plan on writing a review on Trip Advisor to let future guests know how special your property really is. My best wishes for continued success.

"Fabulous Find in Ojai" - Just returned from a 2-night stay at the Su Nido Inn in Ojai, CA. It was our second stay at this property. This Inn is a definite "destination" spot. We stayed in the a suite appointed with every high-end attention to detail including gorgeous upholstery, beautiful and artistic hand tile in the bath, two big-screen tv's, wi-fi, luxurious European linens and an amazingly comfortable bed to match. This property is high-end, warm, sophisticated, but NOT pretentious! The Innkeepers are available, solicitous, full of helpful information, but not intrusive. The property is quiet, but only a short walking distance to the main street where there is gourmet dining and shopping. Ojai also has many, many hiking trails. And, for a small fee, access to a community health club with all the latest equipment, 10 tennis courts and two large swimming pools. With it being less than a 2-hour drive from Los Angeles, I hope Su Nido Inn will become a seasonal destination spot for me.

"Our favorite place in Ojai!" - Su Nido Inn is our favorite place to stay while in Ojai. We've stayed in both the Robin and Raven suites and both are absolutely wonderful. Excellent location and service is top notch. I also recommend bringing bicycles because the nearby bike path can't be beat. All in all a great place to spend your getaway in Ojai.

"Lovely Inn" - We had never stayed in any hotel in Ojai so we don't have any comparisons to make, but we certainly found your lovely Inn a great home away from home. The location is convenient. The easy walk to the main street and to the park and restaurants was great! The Blue Jay suite was larger than we expected and we were pleasantly surprised at the impeccable condition of everything. The little details like large bottles of lotion, slippers, robes, the gourmet coffee maker, etc, were all very nice! The spaciousness of a suite with a living room and kitchenette, are so nice for a longer stay. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy it even more! We also appreciated your recommendations for dinner and breakfast and for taking care of that booking for us.

"Great Discovery" - We were happy to discover the Su Nido Inn for our recent stay in Ojai. This small, conveniently-located Inn consists suites & rooms that are tastefully furnished, ample in size and extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are done in beautiful tile and filled with wonderful Molton Brown products. Most of the suites open onto an interior courtyard teeming with potted flowers and a fountain. All in all very charming and delightful accomodations - we will certainly be back!

"Extremely Comfortable Bed" - Jeff and I wanted to thank you for our recent stay at Su Nido. We and our friends loved our respective suites, lounging in your lovely, quiet courtyard, and looking at the stars from our jacuzzi. The Heron suite was one of the nicest suites we have ever stayed in and we appreciated all the thoughtful amenities and the extremely comfortable bed (what kind is that? I need to get one!). Finally, we want to thank you for all of your help with dinner recommendations and reservations, winery advice, and information about Ojai. You are a wonderful host and enhanced our Ojai experience. There is no place in Ojai we would stay but the Su Nido and we look forward to returning for a visit next summer. Thanks again for everything.

"Taste of Ojai Culinary Package" - We had a group of 4 ladies celebrating a 50th birthday and it could not of been better. The accomodations in the Eagle/Sparrow were superb and the Taste of Ojai culinary experience was fantastic....a memorable birthday! "Relaxing Time at the Inn" - Kinsley & I want to thank you for such a relaxing time at the Inn. As you know, we came in from Pittsburgh for our niece's wedding and the Raven suite was the perfect place to deal with jet lag & time change. It was so nice to eat take-out in the courtyard as well as morning coffee. The bed was very comfy as is the sofa - like our own little apartment! We will definitely be staying with you again. "Truly a Five-Star Facility" - Michael: My husband and I were in Ojai for our nephew's high school graduation and we stayed just one-night in the beautiful Raven suite at Su Nido Inn. We found your Inn so luxurious, beautifully decorated, and well-appointed that we are planning to return next spring for a few days. Your suggestions for restaurants and the concierge service you provided was more than we expected. Yours is truly a five-star facility and operation, comparable to the finest hotels we've had the pleasure of visiting. Thank you for making us so comfortable. "Broad Array of Amenities" - Thank you for the sorely needed respite. As somewhat reluctant Angelinos, we relish the opportunity to escape the concrete and enter into the natural womb that is Ojai. This was our first stay at Su Nido, and it won't be our last. Your attention to detail, broad array of amenities, and interior design were impeccable. Frankly, we're amazed anyone would stay at the "Resort." We certainly won't be going back there anymore! Our only regret was that it was so warm when we went (clearly not your fault). We intend to return in Winter next time to take advantage of open windows, mountain breezes and the fireplace. Thank you, again.

"Peaceful and Inviting Nest" - We completely enjoyed our stay in the Heron Suite. It felt like a home away from home, only better because we didn't have a care in the world. We were so impressed by the level of care and quality that you put into the design and decor of the property, right down to the lovely soaps and the feather bed. It truly felt like a peaceful and inviting nest - nothing at all like your typical lodging. We'll be back!

"Not just a Quaint Little Inn..." - I’ll be honest, we’re not usually ones for quaint little inns but Su Nido has completely changed our minds! It’s absolutely beautiful.

We stayed in the Heron suite. You walk up stairs to a private entrance. When you enter through the glass French doors you’ll find the living room with a cozy fireplace. There is a small kitchen area with a mini refrigerator and microwave perfect for the bags of snacks we brought for the weekend. The bathroom reflects the charm of a small town but doesn’t miss contemporary touches such as the glass shower and high-end amenities.

Past the kitchen is the master bedroom. The sunlight warms the room as it shines through the windows, but you can close the blinds if you want to sleep in. There is even an option on the alarm clock that has ambient sounds to help you fall asleep.

Another reason to get this suite is the private jacuzzi. That’s right. No one can see in and it’s only for you. It’s on the balcony that raps around this corner suite.

We have to thank Michael and Sherrie for their warm welcome and assistance in making this one of the best weekend getaways we’ve ever had. After finding Su Nido online, we called just a couple hours before heading out. They asked us to call as we got close to the area so they could make sure the jacuzzi was hot for us upon our check in. Thanks Michael!

"Beautifully Appointed" - We had such a wonderful time in the Eagle/Sparrow. The Su Nido is just lovely, and beautifully appointed. It provided a very special and private week end for my daughter, her husband, and her mom and dad. We will certainly return to Su Nido, and recommend your beautiful Inn.

"Great Inn, Great Location, Friendly Service" - This is my favorite of the many places I've stayed in Ojai, including the Ojai Valley Inn. The room was great, the staff is friendly, and it has one of the most central locations available in Ojai - you won't need to drive once you arrive because you are so close to the center of town. Plus you won't get nickeled and dimed – Ojai tap water tastes like well water, but the hotel provides free bottled water. The rooms are immaculate, and fitted with every amenity you would expect from a small classy hotel. The small kitchenette has knives, forks and dishes so we made guacamole with the fresh local avocados and ate it on the balcony. Then we walked to dinner, the park, and the shops and back to the hotel. We booked our room online which worked well. Ojai can be frustrating because rooms often book up on weekends for a long time in advance. Watch for cancellations in the week or so leading up to when you want to stay, and you could end up with a great place with just a few days advance booking.

"Fantastic getaway!" - Loved everything about the Su Nido Inn...From the gorgeous suites, to the customer service....The Peacock suite had it all! Definately will be returning soon.

"Could have been in Europe" - From the location to the beautifully appointed suites to the peaceful courtyard, the Su Nido Inn is terrific. My husband planned a two night getaway to Ojai. The town was charming, and the location of the Su Nido Inn was a block off the arcade where there are lots of coffee shops, restaurants, and art galleries. The Inn is a quiet oasis - landscaped with lots of lavender and beautiful flowers. Our suite (The Cardinal) had a nice little patio in addition to the peaceful courtyard (which also has nice tables and chairs- perfect to enjoy a nice cup of coffee or wine). There are three separate rooms (living, bath, and bed), as well as a kitchenette with small fridge. The entire suite was very clean upon arrival, and the bathroom with mosaic tiles and soaking tub was exceptional. I highly recommend the Su Nido Inn to anyone desiring a relaxing stay in Ojai, right in the heart of the village. My only regret is that this review will increase demand and cause them the Inn to raise its rates. We will definitely be revisiting.

"Can't Get Su Nido Inn Out of My Mind" - I just returned from a phenomenal experience at the Su Nido Inn. I took my best friend to the Su Nido to celebrate her 50th birthday. Talk about a perfect 10! We stayed in the Robin suite. The sitting area was spacious and inviting. The bathroom was spotless and deluxe. The bed was so comfortable, it was challenging to leave the suite. The innkeeper, Michael, recommended several restaurants, the Day Spa, and great shopping possibilites. Don't miss the women's boutique called Hattie. The owner has superb taste and the atmosphere is welcoming. I am counting the days until I return.

"Comfortable Luxury at Su Nido Inn" - We recently spent two nights at the Su Nido Inn. We stayed in the Peacock suite -- the Inn gives each of its suites/rooms a bird's name. Our suite were delightful: small entry/living room with a flat screen TV, a fireplace, couch and small table with chairs; a kitchenette, with complimentary snacks, water, and fruit drinks, including a microwave oven and small refrigerator; a full bathroom with tub and separate shower; and a bedroom with an extraordinarily comfortable bed and pillows. The bedroom includes a flat screen TV and a small CD/MP3 player/radio. Complimentary robes and slippers are provided. And, it really is worth repeating -- an extremely comfortable bed and pillows.

Su Nido Inn is a newly built establishment (ca. 2006) with suites/rooms surrounding a courtyard featuring olive trees and a fountain. The Inn is located a couple blocks up from the main street in town, so it is quiet but still within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops.

The Inn features high quality linens, bedding, and Molton Brown soaps and shampoos.

Ojai is a charming town for a short visit. The Su Nido Inn makes a perfect location from which to enjoy the town. We would definitely return for a couple day visit and would recommend the Su Nido without hesitation. The Inn provides a feeling of being pampered without being pretentious or overly expensive. Comfortable luxury describes it well.

The Peacock suite does look out on the parking area behind the Inn. For some that may be reason to choose a different room at the Inn, but we did not find it troublesome in the least.

Highly recommend Suzanne's Cuisine for dinner. We also enjoyed Azu's for dinner and Bonnie Lu's for breakfast. Delightful walk in the foothills at the top of Signal Street. Great time at the Ojai Olive Oil Company off Carne (tours on Saturday morning).

"We Loved the our Room" - My husband and I just stayed in the Sparrow bedroom - our first stay at the Su Nido, but it won't be our last! We loved our room and the beautiful setting and especially the wonderful and comfortable bed. My father lives right down the road at The Gables so I plan on being back often and hope you will always have a room available for my stay.

"Su Nido is Immaculate!!!" - We stayed at Su Nido for two wonderful nights! We chose the Peacock Suite. This suite has a lovely bedroom, large bathroom with separate tub and shower and delicious Molton Brown products! The towels and sheets were perfect. There is a fireplace, lots of windows, kitchenette with complimentary snacks, living room with table and chairs and separate desk. Two TV's, one with DVD player and complimentary DVD selection on loan in the office. The place is immaculate!!! There are terrific views from all windows. This place is in the heart of town and walking distance to cute shops, restaurants and spas. The Innkeeper is wonderful and very accommodating. I am looking forward to going back soon. It is just over an hour drive from LA. Perfect, affordable getaway. I highly recommend Su Nido Inn.

"Extremely Impressed" - I was extremely impressed with the attention to architectual and design detail in our suite - A real joy. The furnishings were extremely comfortable, and we were so comfortable that one night we decided to stay in and enjoy a movie in the Raven suite. We will definitely return, and we've already told our friends about our delightful stay.

"Incredible Time at Su Nido" - We had an incredible time at Su Nido! We stayed in the "Heron suite"- the hot tub was FANTASTIC! We went on a couple of hikes near the Inn (recommended by the staff) and they were all great hikes. The treatments at the spa were excellent. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone! Thank you so much for a wonderful get away!

"Attention to Detail was Magnificent" - Thank you for a fabulous one-night sojourn in Ojai. I loved staying at the Su Nido Inn in the Raven suite. The attention to detail was magnificent, the bed was amazingly comfortable, and the entire place felt like a luxuriously unpretentious retreat center. Since I was there with my brother and not a significant other, I could only imagine how it would be ultimate romantic getaway! Can't wait to come back with my honey or for a girls getaway someday soon, planning a return trip already.

"The Best of Ojai!!" - We LOVED Su Nido! The property is perfectly located to enjoy Ojai. We never needed the car. Su Nido itself is unique, a small number of suites around a lovely courtyard. It feels like another world, sheltered and enchanted. We stayed in the Blue Jay suite. It has a large living room with a fireplace, a kitchenette, a huge, gorgeous tiled bathroom, and a beautiful, cozy bedroom with all the comforts of a luxury hotel. Michael the Innkeeper provided us with all the info we could ever need about Ojai; he even had DVDs available, including the most recent Oscar nominations. GO to Ojai and stay at Su Nido!

"Su Nido was simply Perfect" - I stayed at Su Nido Inn with my daughter who now lives in Los Angeles. Visiting from Westchester, New York, an hour north of NYC, I prefer to visit with my daughter in a more peaceful, relaxing place than LA. Su Nido Inn in Ojai was simply perfect. It is a small, lovely, warm, personal place that combines character, charm, and amenities in a wonderful location in Ojai just a couple of blocks from the main street. The convenience afforded us to park our car and leave it at the Inn while we enjoyed the shops, restaurants, spa and wine bar in town. From the comfortable furnishings, immaculate condition, and personal attention from the Inn keeper (who even had DVD movies to share), Ojai and the Su Nido Inn have become a favorite destination of mine. I look forward to my return visit.

"Su Nido Inn is AMAZING!" - My girlfriend and I stayed 2 nights in the Heron suite and loved it. (And my girlfriend has very high standards!) From the start the staff was incredibly helpful. Michael gave me his cell phone number and answered several of my calls for help with directions from San Francisco and provided me helpful information about local events and entertainment. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and among other things were offered to choose several complimentary movies from a large library of titles. The suite was both impeccable (we are both sticklers for cleanliness) and inviting. There are two flat screen tv's and we watched movies in the living room by the fireplace as well as from our superbly comfortable king-sized bed. We hardly wanted to leave the suite! If you are searching for a comfortable place to stay to get away from the noise and ruckus of the city, Su Nido should be at the top of your list.

"Impressed with the Service" - I really enjoyed my stay at Su Nido Inn in the Robin suite for my special birthday. All of my friends who came to the Inn to visit me were so impressed with what they saw and how you treated me when I checked in. You and your staff's warm personality made me feel so comfortable at the moment I checked in and whole time I was there. One thing I did not care was coffee you provided in the suite. Since I am a coffee drinker (I can't miss my strong coffee when I wake up), I decided to bring my own coffee beans and filter for the next visit to Su Nido. See, I already plan to stay again at Su Nido sometime in the future. Thank you very much for everything you did for me while I was at Su Nido Inn.

"Very nice new property" - We would definitely stay here again. Nice big suites, great location (you can walk everywhere). Ojai can be pricey and touristy but this place is neither.

"Perfect time at Su Nido" - Scott and I had a perfect time at the Su Nido Inn in the Raven suite and I honestly cannot think of any suggestion for you in the area of improvement! You made all of the right suggestions for us to be able to completly kick back and relax. We really enjoyed the Valentine Package. This is what lured me in.

"Fabulous Room with great Amenities" - When close friends of mine decided to marry on New Year's Eve at The Ojai Valley Inn, I thought that would be our only option for accommodations. Fortunately, I investigated further. To my very pleasant surprise, I found Su Nido to be everything I wanted for our stay and nothing I didn't. I knew we wouldn't be golfing or using a "spa". I really wanted a fabulous room with great amenities (ie the Molton Brown products) and access to things when necessary. Michael was amazing before we even arrived, spending at least 20 minutes on the phone with me talking about the property. I was already hooked by the website; he really closed the deal. He was patient, polite and knowledgeable. I knew I made the right decision when other friends, who attended the wedding, told me later they wished they had booked their room at Su Nido as well. Needless to say, they were at The Ojai Valley Inn. Su Nido is so delightful and I hope to be back very soon for no other reason than to try a different room (we were in The Sparrow room) or suite. The beds were comfortable, furnishings well-appointed and tile-work beautiful, not to mention "checking out" DVD's when we arrived for downtime between wedding-related activities as well as access to hiking trails and beautiful scenery. "Quiet & Relaxing Stay" - Thank you Michael for being such a gracious host. Tammy and I wanted to express how much we enjoyed our visit. The Condor Suite was perfect for our romantic getaway. For the most part we didn't want to leave. Besides the charming decor, we could not believe how quiet and relaxing our stay was at the Su Nido Inn. Also, we highly recommend the Maravilla restaurant at the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. While expensive, the dinning experience far outweighs the cost. The ambiance is stunning and the food presentation just as beautiful. We look forward to our next visit in the near future. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one.

"Ditto what everyone else says!" - After a too busy 6 months, I wanted to take my boyfriend away for a suprise New Years Eve RELAXING getaway and Su Nido filled the bill perfectly. Our suite (Peacock) had a lovely sitting room with gas fireplace (very nice on chilly NYE), flat panel tv, table, sofa, desk , etc. We also had a kitchenette (including complimentary coffee, snacks, juice and water -- a nice surprise), lovely bathroom and fantastic bedroom. When I was reading the reviews here before booking, I couldn't imagine why everyone was talking about how great the beds are...well, I can now!! The king-sized bed was like a cloud...soooo wonderful to sink down into. I truly have never felt one like it!

The exterior decor of the inn is beautiful as well -- mission style, lovely courtyard. And the main street arcade is only a few blocks walk away.

Having recent DVDs available to borrow in the office was really nice...and Sherrie and Michael were everything everyone else here has said: helpful, charming, warm.

One TINY problem with the Peacock suite: the suite with the outdoor hot tub (Heron, I believe) was right above us and when the guests were using the hot tub, the noise in our sitting room was annoying. Luckily, they didn't use it much while we were there!

Having said all this, I recommend Su Nido HIGHLY and will be back. :-)

"Great Alternative to a Large, Faceless Hotel" - The Su Nido Inn was great. The room was spotless, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The Inn was quiet and peaceful and is a great representation of Ojai. It is located only one block from the center of town so you can walk to everything. I would definitely stay here everytime I come to Ojai.

"Comfort & Privacy" - Our second visit was as delightful as our first and we will definitely be back. You do everything for the comfort and privacy of your guests! We have stayed in both Cardinal & Heron suites and look forward to exploring more of the Inn.

"Nice Place to Stay in Ojai" - The Inn was advertising a 2 night/spa special so we decided to book for a quick romantic break. We stayed in the Heron Suite which has a king bed (very comfortable), small kitchen area, bath and shower in a modern bathroom, fireplace (on a 30 min timer which was slightly annoying), and a spa pool on the balcony outside (lovely to sit in and watch the stars but felt slightly public). The Inn manager was very helpful, organised flowers and champagne for us, suggested places to eat breakfast/dinner and offered us use of his DVD/CD library. Ojai is small so it was easy to walk to the shops and restaurants from the central position of the Inn. It is a nice play to stay and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to our friends. The Spa was a short drive away and the special included a foot massage, paraffin wax hand treatment and a couples massage. It seemed a bit new age hippy but the treatments were good and the massage definitely got the kinks out.

"Charm, Comfort & Peace" - Our family had a wonderful stay in the Robin suite at Su Nido - We love the charm, comfort and peace here and plan to come back every year if possible! This one of the BEST Inn's I've ever stayed in and the architecture is so beautiful. My future house will be patterned after it. I also love that Su Nido is walking distance to town and close to the Rainbow Bridge market which I adore! Thank you Su Nido.
