"Wonderful treatment and great accomodations" - We loved our stay at the Su Nido Inn. Thank you for creating such a nice atmosphere at the Inn. We enjoyed it so much so that we want to put in a reservation for the Robin suite for next years Yoga Crib. Thank you again for the wonderful treatment and great accommodations at Su Nido Inn!
"Su Nido Inn and no where else!" - We had a most delightful stay at Su Nido Inn, and would want to stay with you and no where else if we return for another yoga retreat. You have a beautiful Inn and a lovely town. I would also like to paint our hallways the colour of your Robin suite, so I am wondering if you might
have a paint colour. It was the perfect colour and has inspired me to repaint!
"Su Nido - Incredible Experience" - I had such a wonderful time at Ojai and really enjoyed my stay at Su Nido. The room was extremely comfortable and the feather bed was incredible. I slept really well. I was glad that I had that extra hour from Daylight Savings Time. I also really enjoyed the great spa products that you provided in the room. Really nice touch. I hope to be able to recommend your hotel in the future -- as well as return to Su Nido for another visit. I did take some postcards when I checked out on Sunday so that I could share them with other travel agents at New Act.
"Su Nido our home away from home" - Dwight and I really appreciated all the effort that went into our wonderful Blue Jay suite, the warm colors the private bedroom and bath apart from the living, and dining room, that way when you had company they only were in the living area. The walls, curtains, iron work, curved walls, tile, the curve doors were so warm and inviting. The furniture had a sense of the past in every room. the bathroom was very special, a room in itself the walk in shower with
beautiful tile and wonderful bath products, and housekeeping always made sure you had all your needs. The private court yard and beautiful iron gates gave the feeling of a villa
any where you wanted to be, In Ojai of course a place to rest and enjoy quality living of days gone by a way of life we all are searching for. All who help you with your stay make you feel so welcome and so willing to help you, and give you the feeling of home. The location was great, you can walk to all the quaint town has to offer. Dwight and I want to thank you for making our stay a part of our memory.
"A Hidden Piece of Paradise downtown Ojai" - We discovered a fabulous initimate hotel a few blocks from downtown, Ojai. Su Nido translates to Your Nest in Ojai and indeed it is a cozy and intimate peaceful environmnet. Only a few months old, the beauty of the suites compete with the Ojai Valley Inn but cost a lot less. We stayed in the standard room, the Sparrow, king size bed fit for a king and queen, very tastefully decorated. The innkeeper showed us another suite, the Peacock, a sitting room with separate sleeping area, with a lovely courtyard to gaze upon. We could walk downtown for coffee, dining, and all the quaint Ojai shops. What a jewel we found!!!
"Su Nido the perfect catch!" - Su Nido was recommended by our fishing guide, Sean James. Lake Casitas, you see, is his favorite lake, and it's only fifteen minutes away from your Inn. We were looking for the perfect place to stay, where my wife Nancy could shop and I could fish for "trophy" bass. I'll admit I was somewhat hesitant in taking someone else's recommendation, but very pleased to report that as soon as I saw Su Nido for the first time, all the hesitancy vanished. You have a wonderful facility with a staff that is helpful, friendly, and professional.
The Inn's ambience can be described as being wonderfully appointed with attention to the smallest detail. The Spanish gated courtyard provides a secure feeling, while the landscape, overall, creates an atomosphere of understated elegance.
This is where you want to stay for easy access to shopping and restaurants of the highest order, or for golf, or in our case, fishing. Our two nights in the Heron suite were accented by the use of or own private hot tub and there is nothing more relaxing than to look up and see the stars that seem to come out ten thousand fold on warm California nights. Continued success to you and your wonderful Su Nido Inn.
"Great, Great, Great" - A great find, We stayed four days at this great place and we will be back for more. Michael (The Innkeeper) is in fact an Innkeeper in the true sense. He truly wants to make your stay at this wonderful INN a memorable event. He is very knowledgeable about the Ojai area and will help you enjoy your site seeing.
The Room - Well we stayed in the Sparrow Room (The smallest in the Inn) but what a great room for two, Great Bed, Great Shower, Great Soaps and Lotions, Great View, Great Movies (provided by Michael) and just a Great four days in a very nice INN and a very nice town. Thank you Michael for the memories, We will be back!!
"Su Nido, Loved it" - What a find. We enjoyed a 2 day getaway and felt as if we were in another world. The Inn was absolutely beautiful. We had a wonderful suite, The Eagle Suite which had a beautiful view of the great oaks and also the mountains in the east. We could open windows in the kitchen area and hear the water in the fountain in the courtyard below. Our suite came with a fully equipped kitchen, complimentary water and juice and coffee and tea. We also has some snacks provided. The rooms were immaculate and we could have stayed forever. We never felt that we were in a "hotel room", we had so much space and room to relax. The colors were wonderful and the added touches made us feel right at home.
We will definitely return to this jewel of a hotel.
And restaurants within walking distance!!! No driving.
"Charming and Romantic Getaway" - I just spent the most wonderful weekend cycling in Ojai with friends. Two of us stayed at the Su Nido Inn. I was surprised there was a vacancy on the Labor Day weekend. Thank heavens there was.
After a long hot and hilly ride it was so nice to be back in cool and quiet suite. The bed and sheets were fabulous and the bathroom was large and modern complete with Molton Brown products. A nice touch.
The lovely courtyard outside our suite was shaded by magnificent olive trees and was a nice place to relax with a drink in the evening.
Coming from Los Angeles it was a relief not having to drive anywhere at night. Situated within walking distance is the main part of town and we had some spectacular meals at a few of the many restaurants in Ojai.
Michael Arredondo, the innkeeper, was a most charming host and went out of his way to make us comfortable and happy.
I've stayed at the Ojai Valley Spa and Ranch before but preferred the boutique feeling of the Su Nido. We are very much looking forward to staying there again in the Fall.
"A wonderful nest" - My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful six day stay at the Su Nido Inn in Ojai, California, in late August of 2006. When we arrived in Los Angeles from Philadelphia at LAX, our travel bags were lost. So we made the 1.5 hour drive to Ojai with basically just the clothes on our backs. This turned out to be no big deal at Su Nido since all of its suites come with bathrobes and slippers and an extensive array of body washes and lotions, shampoos and conditioner. Our gracious hosts furnished us with tooth brushes and tooth paste so we had no problem surviving the 15 or so hours until our baggage finally arrived. The Spanish influenced accommodations at Su Nido were sparkling clean (there is daily maid service) and very well appointed. There were mini size appliances---microwave, frig and a gourmet coffee pot (coffees and teas provided all week long) as well as a small sink in our suite. Our living room and bedroom were very comfortable and decorated with taste. Two large screen televisions were located in the suite. The office provides a nice array of DVD’s and tapes. All of the Su Nido suites face a gated courtyard with tons of flowers and a large fountain…a great place for outdoor AM coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Su Nido translates as “the nest.” We thought that was a perfect description. We toured all day…the stunning Los Padres Mountains as well as the many spectacular beach towns, only 20-40 minutes away. And it was always a pleasure to return to our nest…peaceful, quiet and very comfortable.
