Bicycle Rentals

The best way to experience Ojai is on a bicycle. The Mob Shop, our favorite local bike shop, has conveniently located rentals available at Su Nido Inn for our guests to enjoy.

Project Ride’s rental fleet features the new Kona Africabike 3 City Bike. For every two Africabikes purchased by consumers, Kona donates one to the Africanbike program, an initiative to help healthcare workers in sub-Saharan Africa become more mobile, thus more effective. To date, the program has provided more than 2,500 bikes for African healthcare workers.

Decent of Sulphur Mountain

Project-Ride as your tour guide will take you to the top and Gravity does the rest. We'll drive you to the top of Sulphur Mt. 2,300 feet and descend 9 miles to about 400 feet. You can either ride back to Ojai or we will give you a ride. Beginner to expert mountain bikers can enjoy this ride.

The Spirit of Ojai Tour

Explore the Ojai Valley by electric bike. On this tour you’ll cover a lot of ground with a few climbs. We will visit Meditation Mountain, The Krishnamurti Society and learn about the history of Ojai.

Mountain Bike in the Ventura River Preserve

This full-suspension mountain bike tour (post-beginner to advanced) takes you on the trails of Rancho El Nido Preserve, which lies in the western half of the Ojai Valley and is bordered by three miles of the Ventura River. Now under the protection of the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy (OVLC), and a long-time battleground for environmentalists and developers, the 1,591-acre area has remained relatively untouched and is a haven for a biologically rich mix of over 300 animal and plant species.

Bike to the Beach

This ride starts in Ojai and follows a bike path down to the Pacific Ocean, which takes approximately 1.5 hours. Choose between a regular and an electric bike. You may end this tour in style with some wine tasting.
